Banana Tree

Musa oriana

Dwarf Banana Plants are a good choice for a large ornamental houseplant. They prefer bright indirect to direct sunlight and thrive in moist well-draining soil. They prefer to be watered when the soil is dry at least ½” deep. In the right environment, they can grow up to 8-10ft tall. Regular misting is recommended to prevent pest infestation and keep the edges of the leaves from browning. Fertilize at least once per month during spring and summer with a thin layer of compost or a low-potency chemical fertilizer.
