GROWING NOTES

Grow in a sunny spot with average garden soil; cosmos do not need extra fertilizer to do well. Sow directly in garden in warm spring weather, or start early indoors four weeks before last frost date. Sow seeds 2″ apart, then thin seedlings to space plants 8-10″ apart to grow and bloom well. Mature plants are drought tolerant, but bloom longest if watered regularly. Pick often to extend bloom time.
