A multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a more or less rounded form. Has a tall, spreading habit of growth. Very showy, double pink blooms completely cover branches in early spring. Beware that this plant may only flower to the snow line, as the snow protects the flower buds from extreme cold. Features serrated green foliage throughout the season, turning to a orange colour in fall. Fruitless.
