A multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub with a more or less rounded form, and a suckering habit. Red bark provides a nice winter interest. Features flashy golden-green variegated leaves with yellow margins throughout the season turning to a purple-red fall colour. Features clusters of small yellow-white blooms in late spring, followed by small white berries mid-summer. Use as an accent in a tall shrub border.
