A hardy deciduous shrub produces dark blue, cylindrical berries that ripen in late spring. Holds its fruit longer than other Haskaps and is best when hand picked. Slightly tart berries are best for juice, wine or jellies. Yellow flowers bloom in early spring, with green foliage that turns yellow in fall.
