Maidenhair Vine

Muehlenbackia complexa

Maidenhair vines grow to create a wonderful carpet of small round leaves, perfect for a shelf to drape over. They require a higher level of moisture to really thrive, as they are prone to die-back if the soil is left to dry out too much. Keeping the soil evenly moist is important, with good drainage so the roots aren’t left to stay in standing water. The plant doesn’t tolerate prolonged exposure to direct sun and wide temperature swings, so keeping it away from a window is good.
