A multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a compact, globe-shaped habit of growth. Tough and adaptable plant. Produces clusters of creamy white blooms in mid-spring, followed by pink fruit, ripening to red and then black when mature. Ornamental fruit is held in abundance from mid-summer to late fall. Features leathery dark green foliage throughout the season turning to a deep reddish-purple colour in fall.
