GROWING NOTES

Peas are cool-season crop. Sow directly outdoors in early spring in fertile, well drained soil as soon as soil can be worked. Plant seeds 1 ” deep and 2″ apart in rows several feet apart. Provide a 5′ tall, well anchored trellis for vines to climbs. Harvest when pods are 4″ long and flat, before the seeds inside develop.
