A multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a low, spreading habit of growth. Green spring blooms, followed by an abundance of green berries. Gooseberries ripen to pink in mid-summer. Excellent for fresh eating, baking and canning. Near thorn-less, vigorous shrub features green foliage throughout the season, turning to a red colour in fall.
