An extremely hardy narrow, upright, columnar form of the species with a v-shaped growth habit. Is available as a single or multi stem. Used as a tall hedge or screen plant. An attractive vertical accent. Extremely tough and tolerant of dry sites and salty soils. Light green foliage throughout season with a yellow fall colour. Has yellow pea shaped flowers hanging below the branches in mid spring. Smooth olive green bark adds an interesting feature.
