An very hardy, extremely tall and narrow pencil like tree used primarily as a vertical accent in a row as a tall screen. Tends to sucker with age. Has green foliage throughout the season turning to a yellow colour in fall. Not recommended for city yard. Often mistaken for the Swedish Columnar Aspen.
