Variegated Pineapple

Ananas comosus

When in an ideal environment, Variagated Pineapples will eventually grow a small edible fruit. They prefer morning sun or bright indirect sunlight and thrive in moist, well-draining soil. Water when the soil is dry when the soil is dry at least  ½”deep. Regular misting is recommended to prevent pest infestation and keep the edges of the leaves from browning. Fertilize no more than every 8 weeks in spring and summer with a thin layer of compost or a diluted low-potency chemical fertilizer.
