A dense multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with a more or less rounded form. One of the best shrubs for red fall colour. Corky wings on branches with warty brown and gold bark provide winter interest. Green pointy foliage turn flame red in fall. Tiny yellow spring blooms produce red ornamental fruit from early to late fall.
