An upright, vase shaped, clump-forming grass. Features blue-green leaves that turn blood red, starting in summer. Tall spikes of reddish flowers in summer turn tan in fall and hold throughout winter. Discovered by gardener Dale Smith near St. Thomas, Ontario.
