Burgundy Candy Ninebark

Physocarpus opulifolius 'Podaras 1'
A dwarf compact mound of lobed foliage that emerges coppery-bronze in spring, turning then to burgundy ending in a purple in fall. Small white clusters of flowers in spring mature into small red seed capsules. A tough and durable plant with peeling, tan bark that adds an interesting dimension to the landscape.
