A dense multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with an upright, spreading habit of growth, is a true dwarf. Features dark purple foliage throughout the season, darkening in colour into the fall. Creamy pink blooms in early summer providing a nice contrast against the dark leaves. Excellent for small shrub beds. A very adaptable plant. The peeling, tan bark adds an interesting dimension to the landscape. First Editions plant.
