Can be sown directly to the garden, or for earlier flowers start indoors 4 weeks prior to last frost. Sow 1/4 inch deep and 1 inch apart in moist, well drained soil. Harden off, then transplant one week after final spring frost. Deadhead spent blooms frequently.
