Sow indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost in trays of compost. Keep warm and moist. Transplant well after last frost when soil is thoroughly warm. Feed and water regularly. When sides of fruit are pressed slightly with thumbnail and indentation remains, fruit is ripe.
