CompareStart indoors 4-6 weeks before last spring frost or sow directly outdoors when night temperatures stay above 10C. Protect young seedling from cats until plants are well established. Grows in average soil but best with regular water. Often self-sows for additional plants. Harvest leaves as needed. Pick leaves and flowers before frost to dry indoors. Keep dried catnip in an airtight jar.
