GROWING NOTES

Start outdoors in early spring in full sun after frost danger is over and as soon as soil can be worked. In mild climates, plant again in early fall for a late crop. Sow seeds in well drained soil 2 inches apart, firm soil well over seeds and keep evenly moist. Carefully thin young seedlings several times, so final spacing is 4 inches apart. For sweetest flavor do not let plants dry out.
