GROWING NOTES

Plant directly into rich soil in full sun when night temperatures reach 13C. Sow 5-6 seeds, 4 inches apart in hills 2 feet apart. Carefully thin seedlings to 3 plants per hill. Water cukes evenly and consistently for best production. Secure vines on vertical supports for easy picking. Harvest fruits when pale in color for sweet flavor and crispness; fully yellow fruits are overripe and seedy.
