Moon Cactus
Gymnocalycium mihanovichii
This colourful cactus consists of two varieties of cacti grafted together. Without being grafted onto the green stem, the colourful top of a Moon Cactus would not survive. Like most plants in the Cacti family, they bright indirect sunlight and thrive in well-draining soil. Because of it’s bright colours, Moon Cactus burn easily, so bright indirect light is best to help your plant thrive. Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering thoroughly. Fertilize once per month during spring and summer with a diluted low-potency chemical fertilizer.
