GROWING NOTES
Sow seeds directly to the garden where they are to bloom, when the ground is workable- up to 4 weeks prior to the final frost. Well drained, sandy soil is best. Scatter seeds thinly and rake in. Keep moist until germination (14-21 days). Thin as necessary. Make two or three sowings for a continuous display. Californian poppies will self seed.
