A dense, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with an stiff upright habit of growth, becoming looser with age. Green spring blooms, followed by an abundance of red round berries ready for picking from early-mid summer. Commonly used for jams, jellies and wine-making. Features green lobed foliage throughout the season, turning yellow in the fall.
