GROWING NOTES

Sow directly in the garden, in fertile well drained soil or compost. Cover lightly, space 1/2 inch apart. Keep moist. Germination: 15-20 days. Thin as required. Water regularly. For earlier flowers, start indoors 6-8 weeks before last spring frost. Sow into pots, cover lightly. After germination, thin to the stro9ngest plant. Keep moist. Harden off and transplant after final spring frost, being careful not to disturb the roots. Blooms in second year.
