Tree Moving Services
We provide small to large caliper tree moving and planting services in the Edmonton area and are willing to travel anywhere in Alberta.
All tree moving is charged based on the size of equipment at an hourly rate from the time we leave the nursery, to the time we return to the nursery.
To provide the best chance of survival for your tree, we take every tree move on a case-by-case basis to evaluate the tree’s likelihood of successful transplant which includes an assessment the tree itself, the site and soil conditions and determining the ideal timing for the move and which equipment is most suited to your tree.
Tree Spade fleet
Skidsteer Tree Spades
These are typically used to dig trees and place them in wire baskets, however can also be used to relocate trees in close proximity to their new home.
32”: Able to dig up to an 8 foot coniferous tree and a 3 inch deciduous tree (6ft access required)
36”: Able to dig up to an 11 foot coniferous tree and a 3.5 inch deciduous tree (6ft access required)
44”: Able to dig up to a 14 foot coniferous tree and a 4 inch deciduous tree (8ft access required)
Tree Spade Trucks
Our tree spade trucks move large trees one at a time in the spade on the truck deck
68”: able to move up to a 17 foot coniferous and a 6.5 inch deciduous tree. (10ft access required) $235.00/hr
90”: able to move up to a 23 foot coniferous tree and a 9 inch deciduous tree. (14ft access required) $350.00/hr
