Air Plants
Tillandsia
Of the Tillandsia family, Air Plants are a unique plant that do not require soil to survive. They prefer morning sun or bright indirect sunlight. Air Plants require water 2-3 times per week for optimal health. The most efficient way to water Air Plants is to soak them in water for 20 minutes, with a longer 2 hour soak every 2-3 weeks. Fertilize once per month during spring and summer with a diluted low-potency chemical fertilizer to stimulate flowering. Regular misting is recommended to keep the edges of the leaves from browning.
