GROWING NOTES

Okra is a warm season crop. Sow indoors 4-6 weeks before last spring frost. Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep and 1 inch apart in containers of seed starting mix. Keep moist and very warm, 27C. When 2-3 inches tall transplant into individual containers. Provide a warm environment and plenty of light. Transplant outdoors in rich soil, in full sun, only when nights are above 13C. Harvest pods when young and tender, and keep picked often for continued production.
