GROWING NOTES
Cucumbers are warm-season crop. Sow directly into rich, well drained soil in full sun in spring, once night temsp reach 13C. Sow 5-6 seeds 1/2″ deep and 4″ apart in low hills 2′ apart. Thin, leaving only the 3 strongest plants per hill. Water consistently for mild, sweet fruits. tie vines onto short supports for easy picking. Check vines daily and harvest at 3-4″ for pickling.
