This dogwood is very hardy, and grows in a taller form than other varieties. It's foliage has creamy-white margins around the grey-green centre, which turn to shades of pink and purple in the fall. In winter the red stems give great contrast against a snowy background. It blooms clusters of small white flowers which develop into tiny berries later in the season.
