GROWING NOTES

Sow 1/2 inch deep, 2 inches apart, in rich, well drained soil in early spring, as soon as soil can be worked. For earlier blooms, start indoors 6-8 weeks before final frost and transplant up to 2 weeks before final frost. Shoots are hardy and can take light frosts. Germination takes 10-21 days. Train young plants up a fence or wall, or support with sticks or netting. Pick regularly to prolong flowering period.
