A hardy, native, multi-stemmed deciduous shrub with an upright, spreading habit of growth. Small red, edible berries in summer, self pollinating but has higher yields with two varieties. Berries are great for fresh eating , jams and jellies. Small white blooms in spring accent green serrated foliage throughout the season, turning to a yellow colour in fall. Arching, red, prickly canes.
