Pothos

Epipremnum aureum

Commonly referred to as Golden Pothos or Devil’s Ivy, Pothos are a good option for a hanging pot or draping over a shelf. This green or variagated leafy plant can easily be started by cuttings in water or soil, and are fast growing in the right conditions. They prefer bright indirect light and can tolerate low light however, will not thrive. Allow the first few inches of soil to dry out before watering, and ensure the pot has adequate drainage. These plants are easily propagated by cuttings. They do not require fertilizing, but a thin layer of compost or low-potency chemical fertilizer every once in a while to give it a boost of nutrients is helpful.
