GROWING NOTES

Start indoors 6 weeks before the last spring frost or plant directly outdoors after the last frost. Grow in rich, well-drained soil, spacing seeds 4-6 inches apart. Thin 12 inches apart. Stake plants to protect from wind damage. Water, fertilize and remove spent flowers regularly so plants rebloom. Can also be fall planted 8 weeks before first frost.
