GROWING NOTES

Can be sown directly to the garden in early spring or fall or for earlier blossoms, start indoors 8 weeks before planting out, in trays of seed mix about 1 inch apart. Cover lightly and keep moist and warm. Germination 7-14 days. Thin when seedlings have developed 2-4 leaves. Harden off prior to transplanting to warm soil in late spring. Tolerant of dry soil. Zone 3.
