Re-blooming variety. Modern daylilies are spontaneously blooming plants of the easiest garden practice. They feature dense clumps of thick, arching, grassy green foliage and upright stems of trumpet flowers. This selection features large deep red double blooms, edged in white with a yellow throat.

Plump, almost-open flower buds may be dried then re-hydrated in winter months. Greens are best eaten in spring and can be eaten raw, sauteed, steamed etc. Starchy tubers can be dug and eaten raw or cooked (similar to potatoes). Most parts have some mild medicinal uses
